My First Ever Book!

OMG, OMG, OMG…my book has been published and is now available on Amazon!

Yes, after three years of writing I’ve finally found a way to get my book out into the world and that’s via the self-publishing platform Amazon! Click here to find it, it’s called Living With Aspergers: Daniel’s Story.

I started writing my book back when I was in hospital and wanted to find a way to help people already on or going on to the autistic spectrum whilst also telling my story living with Aspergers. The book covers my life from the very beginning when I was born to going to university to my running days to my career to the most wonderful moments of my life.

I’m Raising Funds For Mind

Yep, that’s right, 50% of profit I make will go towards the charity, Mind. I’ve set up a fundraising page here so you can see how much I raise. Thank you so much to everyone who’s bought my book already. Here’s a brief part of the description so you can find out more about my book:

“At age 18, Daniel Jones took the Aspergers test and was finally diagnosed with Aspergers or High Functioning Autism. Daniel went through most of his school days being bullied, not knowing what was making things in life difficult for him but now after 12 years he finally has an understanding of his autistic traits and wants to share them in this book whilst raising awareness for autism in this autism book.

Daniel isn’t just living with Aspergers, he has recently suffered a psychotic episode during the coronavirus lockdown. When everything was locked down due to the coronavirus outbreak, Daniel was struggling to live his life due to his mental health. Writing from a mental health hospital after a psychotic episode, Daniel reflects on the different elements of his life and the challenges he has had to overcome living with Aspergers .Covering everything from when he was born to holidays to his career, Daniel gives his insight into the diagnoses whilst also inspiring others to go about their everyday life with the right mental attitude.”
