Home Sweet Home

I’m home but the difficult bit starts know, adjusting from being in hospital to everyday life. At the minute I need to focus on my projects, one is running, the other is writing a book, yes I’m in the middle of writing a book called LIFE – Living With Aspergers: Daniel Jones Story. I’m talking about mental health, running and basically everything about LIFE, such as the small things we take for granted, like food, a.k.a McDonalds, KFC and Burger King, like the birds and the bees and the world.

I arrived home yesterday and was greeted with a chocolate cake with the words “Welcome Home” in great big icing letters plastered on it. I love chocolate cake I even had some for lunch. I deserved some after going out for a 5k run this morning with my Mum. It was a brilliant run with my Mum this morning. Anyway, that’s it for today, a nice short post to say I was home, my main focus know is me.

  1. I appreciate your honesty. Mental well being should be respected like the physical. Sadly, there is a double standard.

I too am a runner, but didn’t start until I was 48 years old. finished my first marathon at 50!

Anxiety is my inner Achilles. It’s not severe enough for a clinical diagnosis, but strong enough to impact my life.

All the best to you! No shame or blame. Peace.
